I love using the catalyzed clear for my models. However, at about $19 a can, you better have plenty to paint since it sets up within a few days. One of the perks of using it is that if you do get model glue on the finish, it rolls right off, with no damage to the paint.
I started the Cosmic Charger a month or so back and the decals did not apply correctly (user error?), so since I don't have anything yellow in my collection, I decided to repaint it yellow. While I was at it, I opened several models and decided what colors I wanted to use on them. The 57 Ford wagon will be built as a gasser and is the color brown of our 57 Ranch Wagon we had when I was a kid. The orange 58 Chevy, red 50 Ford, and cream 41 Ford may be mild customs. The 41 will be a Woodie, with darker wood trim. The clear came out well, with a little garbage getting in. That can be sanded and buffed. The 58 had no image of how the decals were placed, so I had to fudge them. I'm not sure if they are where they should be, but I don't care.

Working on getting the dragster finished. I've actually got a couple ahead of these that I painted/clear coated a while back. I think a 37 Chevy is the next in line.
