Hi all. Well I find myself away from home base again for the Holidays and before I left I dug through the stash and found a few more simple kits I had that hadn't seen the light of day for years. Brought them along to satisfy the ever present drive to model! Also this 34 Ford that is first up on the desk. This is a neat little kit! It will need some work though as I'm not content put it together right out of the box. Should look cool on the shelf next to the Phantom Vicky I built here last month. I'll be painting it and doing some basic detailing to it. Keepin' it simple and fun! cheers-

I was just looking at that Black Force model the other day thinking I ought to build it as a quickie. My friend Jerry built one back when it was released but scratched up a custom interior and put a full engine compartment in it as well. Turned out looking super. I would probably just lower it down and put some nice paint on it, myself.
And that RamBlur is on my shelf too.
Did the RamBlur come from the original Johan Rambler? I always thought the resemblance must be more than coincidence.
Both are worthy targets for a quick on the move build so I think you did good!

Got to work on the coupe some... Sanded off the flames and rest of body and fenders with 1k grit wet Almost ready for primer Got the interior and chassis assembly painted and primed either I lost the gauge decal of there never was one. Luckily I had this old Cady decal. I should be able to do something fairly convincing with these and some BMF. It's all I have LOL!

Greetings all! I had some good desk time over the holiday and got this simple build done. Sure was fun putting together a decent shelf model just using basic supplies and techniques. in primer before paint. I hit it with locally available Rustoleum 7251 Cobalt Blue Metallic then a few coats of their clear out of the rattle can. Ended up stripping the paint off the interior and cobbled up a gauge set out of what I had here. Drilled out the holes in the spokes and hit them with a chrome pen. BMF'ed the grill shell Black wash Put it all in a box, shook it up and this fell out.

That turned out great! I never really thought these kits would be interesting, but this build proves me wrong. Great color choice and the little details that you added here and there really improve the overall look. Nicely done '34.
