A really BIG oooops ! Once we had a ground crew doing maintenance on F-15's and while running up the engines on one it somehow jumped the chocks (or they weren't there) and went nose first into a second F-15's fuselage ! It has hushed and we never heard from or new what happened to those involved .

I worked with a guy that was an F15 crew chief(retired) and he could sure tell some stories too. Quite interesting for sure. The above "event" happen last August here on Eglin AFB. It was ruled an "equipment failure". There is a joint service F 35 training squadron here and after Hurricane Micheal about 20 F 22s from Tyndall have been relocated here as well. Sure gets noisy around here these days!
