The original 1:1 could have been designed by Dave Deal, it was so deliciously exaggerated. So who better than to render it in his inimitable style. And who better than to build it than yourself, says I! These must be very special kits indeed. I'm impressed by the fact that they appear to be identical twins, so clean and exact is your execution. What scales are they?

Thank you Bernard ! They are identical twins and very rare having been a limited production run , I consider myself lucky to have acquired them both . While they aren't actually "Deal's Wheels" kits they were created using Dave's original artwork that was provided by his family and that was also used in the instructions . They both have a Dave Deal Copyright on them instead of the manufacturer , which is very unusual too .
As for scale that's really hard to say , the big one measures about 5 inches long . I have an HRM Cheetah and a Cox Cheetah that are also about 5 inches long but that's the only thing they have in common . The mini Cheetah reminds me of a Hot Wheels except it is short at only 1 5/8 inches . Both Cheetahs are wider and taller than an actual scale model would be compared to their length .

Wow, I thought the big guy was large scale, like maybe 1/12th or 1/8th. The consistency between the two models completely fools the eye! That's saying something!

Looking at my photos now I can understand how the size could be an unknown . I had meant to take a photo to show the scale but completely forgot , so I took one this morning . This really shows the size of these Cheetahs .

Yikes! The little guy is TINY. Poor eyesight and clumsy fingers meant building the little guy was pretty scary , it cost more than a lot of kits in my stash !

Wow, another cool Car-Toon model from your bench! I've always liked the design of these Cheetah cars. Great work with the paint and decals. Especially those tire decals must have been a challenge, but they look very good from here. Nice work.

The tire decals on the mini Cheetah were very difficult and after messing up the first two I regrouped and managed to get three out four applied without any mistakes . . . luckily I had a couple extras printed .

Very crisp and clean work there Bob. You sure have a way with this type of subject. Thanks much Ron! After the New Year it's back to building more conventional subjects .
