that looks great. way better than with that checkerboard pattern on it. Did you lower it some? I don't dig that top too much, I think that's what has always kept me from buying the kit. Looks way better without it though. That distributor wiring, did you do that or is that a formed piece you painted? It particularly looks great and that engine overall looks very good. Maybe I should grab one of these kits, don't know if I have ever noticed a prepainted version. Isn't it also available plain Jane white plastic? jb Thanks JB. No I didn't lower it, just made sure all the attachment points scraped clean for positive fit. I agree about the goofy looking roof, yes it does look better without it. The wiring harness is one molded, prepainted piece. all I did was add a wash to it. Yes AMT did make a plain plastic kit as well as this prepaint.  |
