Given those two choices I would go with the Hugger Orange.

That looks pretty close, Bob, but again the camera may be fooling us (me).
If you want to pay for postage, I will send you a big tub body to use as a sample. I could also send you a random piece of orange sprue from the reissue (pretty much exact color as original if my eyes do not deceive me) and that way you would not have to pay postage nor return it to me. Let me know via PM, would be glad to help

Thanks much for the offer but I'll go with the Hugger Orange move on . I appreciate the input .

I would too, move on that is, and speaking of moving on, right now at hobby lobby near me they have Model Master Hugger Orange Lacquer for 1.54 a can! Probably not worth a trip for just that but if you need anything else there it might be worthwhile to look into

Time to start cuttin" ! You didn't really think I'd cut up two Little T bodies did you ? Temporary blocks added to help locate the body to the frame . First rough cuts . . . locating it on the frame . Checking the interior fit . Nothing is glued yet , it's all taped together . Gluing everything together . Checking the fit after it's been glued . Notice that I changed the rear seat . The rear seat is from the '27 T Touring kit . Much closer to the Big Tub seat but still needs a little work . Here's the Big Tub seat . Starting to modify the seat . Main body work is also underway . To be continued . . .

Did anybody notice back when I built the "Little Rod" that I used bucket seats when the "Big Rod" had this bench seat in it ? Since I need more than one bench seat I used this one as a mold to Vac-U-Form a finished seat . Hard to see in this photo but it worked very well . Body work is about finished , just a little fitting left to do .

Serious, serious modeling happening here! As I implied at the start, this particular variation has the potential to be the Tour de Force of the trio. And I think your nailing it!

Outstanding work so far and you make it look easy! I agree with Bernard that this one will be the crown jewel of your re creations.

Outstanding work so far and you make it look easy! I agree with Bernard that this one will be the crown jewel of your re creations. Thanks Ron ! I took a break but it's time to get going again ! The top is next , here's a rough idea of the plan . First cuts . I made a piece to wrap around the rear of the top to fill in the gaps . Pieces all glued and trimmed to the final shape . No filler used yet . Here's a peek at the underside , lots of reinforcements .

After sanding the filler I added the two seams using .010" x .020" strips . Everything primed and about ready for paint . The fit to the rear of the body still needs a little work . To be continued . . .

The top was painted Tamiya Pure White followed by a light spray of Dull-Cote to knock down the shine . The rest is Model Master Hugger Orange .

Working on and off I've made some progress . The cycle fenders from all of the Monogram kits (Red Chariot , Green Hornet , Black Widow , etc . . .) are all made for larger diameter tires so the radius needs to be reduce to fit the Little T tires . I cut grooves on the inside with a razor saw , coated them with Testors orange tube cement , and taped the fenders to paint bottles of the correct diameter . Once dry they held the shape perfectly . I used .030" sheet to make the supports and glued them to the fenders . The ends of the fenders need to be trimmed to the proper length and they all need a little filler along the edges . I also managed to get the suspension installed . . . . . . just about finished the engine . . . . . . and finished the interior .
