Just started this build of a 1948 Cadillac " Eldorado " from the Revell FOOSE Kit # 4435. My intent is to build this kit with alterations, like a different color. As usual, will start with the engine and drive train, which will be Gold.

That's a new one to me. The box art shows a different "c-pillar" roof line in the side view. Maybe they took artistic license. Looks like an interesting offering.

You'll like the kit Ron. Not many options, but I'm sure you could make your own.

Harron, that's the gleam off the side glass window. This is a Convertible with a Carson Style top. The kit has a real nice 502 engine and the the drive, frame and suspension are all customized as well as the interior.

Here's how it turned out so far. May need to put a few more coats on. Think I may of had my pressure too high.

Looks good from here except for what appears to be some spots there on the hood. Great color choice too, another coat or two of color and some clear will really bring it out.

Thanks for checkin in. Wet sanded with 4, 6, 8, and 12,000 polishing pads. The paint must have been drying before it hit the surface. Also need to clean my booth better. Will try and do some wet coats, when the weather permits.

Looks good so far, keep the pictures coming! This kit is on my list too, I'm planning to build mine as a Traditional Custom so lots of modifying is in order... Anyway it's interesting to see how this kit builds up so I'm watching this closely.
