An old kit that I completely redone Indeed the previous version that dates from 1980 (37 years), was not properly ugly, but the finish did not suit me and the paint was also not great So I rethought, after stripping, otherwise Chromes at the time had received glue and were not very clear The grille, the bumpers were dechromed and redone to the liquid chromium. (Extraordinary Proceeds) The tires also had glue and I reworked to make them more homogeneous, and I redone the white sides that had yellowed (at the time I had made them with enamel (there ' is matt white acrylic) A pale blue simply With the recent version I did a few months ago, it made me 2 configurations a little different (one closed top and with fender skirt, and the other with open top without fender skirt) It's funny I realized that this is the kit I used the most in multiple versions! Here are the pictures

Typically immaculate execution on this one, as we have come to expect from you. Given what you describe as the condition of the original it's a very nice save indeed. Did you decant the Liquid Chrome and airbrush it? It does look very nice on the bumpers.
