Basically built from the box, other than the wheels came from the AMT '32 Ford Victoria kit, and valve covers and floor shifter from the Revell '66 Shelby. I used pieces of a index binder for the rear window, I raised it about 3 scale inches. After messing up 4 models in a row, I hesitated to attempt this one. I did mess the paint up on the hood, had to dip it in easy off. Those small vents got clogged in the process. They don't say what year it is suppose to be.
Tanks for lookin'

Very neat work, I like the swing away rear spare! I forgothow "boxy" the early Broncos were, especially next to the later Blazers from Chevy. Thanx for good work. I trust it will inspire others to build a few off-roaders.

So here out of nowhere Johnny come lately . The Inaugural Road Test for the 1969 Chevrolet Blazer appeared in 'Chevrolet History' documented by Peterson Publishing . The Blazer was attempting to cross sand . A boxy Jeep had to finish the job the vaunted Chevrolet failed at . The pics are part of the evaluation . So , I would choose functional V/S non conformist and not so much .. Draw your own conclusions .

SUVs, like cars, seem to need redesigns to keep folks interested. They go from boxy, sharp-edged to rounded and back again. Not surprising a "purpose-built" off roader like a Jeep would do better than an occasional off-roader like popular SUVs from the big 3.
