What do you use to make such a fine cut like you did to take the roof off?

What do you use to make such a fine cut like you did to take the roof off? On this one I used a Xacto razor saw to do the cut and various grit sanding sticks to get the final shape.

On the Ford convertible, a nice 2-tone body would be great if you're going factory stock. The exposed interior means needing time to detail well with a brush. Re: cutting roofs, bodies etc, the razor saw is the best bet after careful marking where to cut. Best about the saws is there availability most places and reasonable price. Good luck on the finish! It could even be one of the topless NASCAR racers of that era!

I guess that will be my next tool. I want to take a 66/67 GTO front end and meld it to a 66/67 El Camino to essentially make what a GMC El Camino (El Poncho?) might have looked like.

This one is going to be a mild custom and I'll probably use a tonneau cover cover on the back to smooth the lines out. Two tone would be appropriate for sure...still in decision mode on color. Thanks.

After reworking the side trim. I think it looks better, less "busy" I did a little on this Ford this weekend. Fresh out of the paint booth. Testor's MM Classic black and regular line 1204 dark red, decanted and airbrushed.
