For a X-mas speedbuild on a Swedish forum.... 60+ parts....seems legit for a speedbuild..... Didn't like the 2-piece molded in grey plastic tyres in the kit so swapped them for, I think, Revell 41 Chevy pickup in front and maybe Little red wagon (?) in the rear. Failed at the paintjob and to be honest I feel that the best idea probably is to go oldschool and brush paint this.....I have gotten good results with gloss black enamel before, so.... The silly chassis, I think I made more realistic looking stuff out of Lego in grade school....

It's a shame that the kit is a bit simple. After seeing the real thing at Barris' Shop a bit over a year ago made me want to build one. But I wouldn't like to do big modifications to make it look more detailed. Anyway your build is looking really good so far! Interesting to see how this turns out, so keep the updates coming.

Don't expect too much, it is a speedbuild and this kit is...well.....it's hard to be nice about it.

I bought one of these cheap just for the body - to see about turning it into a regular Touring. You're right, there's not much else that's usable. If you're building it as a Munster Koach I think you either go with it and build it as intended, or get massively bogged down correcting everything.

Boring build maybe but at least it is moving forward...
