Certainly a different choice, a cool one. Not sure I like the "all out" big engine choice. We'll see how it looks as it comes together. Best of luck!

Interesting approach. Looking forward to see where you go with it.

Got the first color of the two tone paint job on the Cyclone. Also changed the motor as well. I went with a 2008 Mustang power plant and made a new hood scoop as well. These give it more of the look I wanted,

It has been awhile since I've done an update on the 71 Cyclone, but have been making steady progress. The body is all cleared just need to finish sand and polish it out so I can start foiling it. I also got the a lot of work done on the interior. Seeing as it is a black interior I decided to use flat, satin and gloss blacks to "liven" it up a little [also did the same thing for the 67 Camaro conv. interior on the right] I got the chassis sprayed and just need to paint the gas tank steel and maybe paint the front part black [not sure on that though] Finally made the motor decision going with the 5.0 from the 2014 Mustang.

Looks good so far. I like the color combo and engine choice.

I like the choice to go with the Mustang engine. Very neat choice on body color design
