The idea is to make a hot rod Duesenberg roadster out of a 34 Phaeton Torpedo, by removing 1 & 1/2 inches from the middle of it.

Today's progress on the Hot Rod Duesey. I got the body put back together and made the filler pieces for the removed spare tire holders. I will sand both out tomorrow and smooth them out. Finally I was able to get one of the frame rails shortened and will do the other tomorrow as well as hopefully rejoining the fenders.

I didn't like the longer wheelbase ones, but this one has the racy look of the '30s Mercedes 500K and 540K convertibles. Thanx!
