Decided it was time to try one of these kits! Goes together really nice but wish the instructions were more detailed. My blue on the interior was a little too bright but used what I have on hand. Now if the weather will cooperate so I can get the body painted! Got the body pained and decals added. Boy do these decals stick quick! have to keep on your toes!!

Looking very good so far! I've built the stock version of this Hudson and it came together really nicely too. I have this same kit in my stash too so I'm following this one with great interest. Nice work in the interior, and engine looks good too. That minor surface rust on intake and exhaust manifold is a great idea. Keep it coming.

Fine work on what is a great kit. Only big flaw, to me, was the inclusion of tires pretty wide for the era. Thanx for super fotos of engine, interior, etc. Best of luck with the body and windup!

True fact on the use of truck tires. Could be the angle of the foto and flat (not bulging much) sidewall that gives it a fat look. Seeing old fotos and vids from early Daytona beach racing, no tires then helped enough! Those were wild days.

No tire was going to give them real traction they were just looking for one that would handle the beating they were giving them!
