Take your time. We'll be wondering what you'll do with the Jo-Ann sub-par chassis and (usually) one piece interior. Best of luck!

The chassie will remain stock but I drilled new holes for the metal axles to lower it front and rear. Interior will also be stock but with added instruments, new shifter and a nice "GT" steering wheel. I really don't like to build chassies or engines, so this build will be "almost curbside-ish"....

Looking good so far. Just don't see this built up much. Looking forward to watching it come together.

You sure have a rare and classic kit there. Good job thus far.

Paint process started last night. Tomorrow it's time for some "special paint treatment" to the roof.... Stay tuned for fresh pics in about a day o 2 !

This is supposed to look like an old 1980's showcar that someone dragged out of a storage and put some cheap, "pawnshop-wheels" on. So I'll put a couple of old speakers on the rear shelf.

The speakers look cool, nice work on the interior too.

I like the lace job you did on the roof. I also have an old JoHan kit in my stash that I am starting on. Its a '62 Studebaker Lark convertible that I got at Bufcon a couple years ago. I put some fender skirts on it, as well as adding a different type grill to the front end. Its a curbside kit, so no engine detail to say but it could be interesting after all is done with it.
