I found the restoration project of the second version of George Montgomery's Mustang Malco gasser that a friend built in the 70s and I ended up with in the late 70s or early 80s needing alot of work,I was suprised to find all the parts for it in one of my parts bins so its time to finish it. It looks like I will have to make a couple parts and find a motor for it and the front axle I put on it is too wide so I got to figure out if I am going to build it as a race car or a early 70s street freak.

Cool. I vote for the 70's street freak approach.

I do have the motor from the 33 Willys kits that I could put in it.

Who made this kit,I remember building it when it first came out and was molded in white and this one looks to have been yellow.

Since it does not have the lump in the hood it must be one of the latest versions,it has what looks to be a 67/68 body and 65/66 front fenders and I know I had it since around 81.
