Hey folks, long time no see. I have been out of the hobby for at least 4 yrs. I'm literally starting from scratch again. So this past week after all that time I was taken to local hobby shop in Marlboro Mass called the Spare time shop. I used to go to that store at least once a week years ago, It was like a homecoming for me!! Anyways i was told to pick out one model, So i did, I picked the Matt and Debbie Hay's Prostreet T-bird re-issue. The reason i picked this one out was I built this was way way back when it was first issued, My skills were'nt that great then and it came out looking like a freshly painted turd!!. So this time around and many years older i think im up for the challenge to do it again. Also i was in the basement yesterday and was moving stuff around for my mother, bringing up all the xmas rubbermaid bins. Seemed like an endless amount of them lol. I discovered a workbench under all her crap lol. So im gonna clean it off and re-arrange things so I have a place to build. Theres even a long light above it. Sorry if i sound long winded but im super excited about this. Im posting it here because i cannot keep up with all the darn fb modeling groups i belong to. So other than my main FB page which if any of you want to be friends thats cool. Im sure im friends with most of you. Ill just post it here. Ok enuff babbling this is the kit. PS THIS IS THE BENCH I UNCOVERED BY ACCIDENT LOL. I got some cleaning and organizing to do but im excited!!

Well as you all know i spent about two hours yesterday cleaning off the workbench in the basement. I had it all nice and setup. Well i went down there tonight to finally get started on my Tbird and realized its cold as hell down there. So i brought one of the wooden panels upstairs and basically turned my little desk into a big one. So ill be working on it upstairs till the weather warms up lol.

It's interesting to see how this will turn out. I bought the old release of Bob Glidden's version of this same kit a while ago and I can say that the kit seems to be good quality.

Sorry for the slow updates, but Ive been busy with seeing my kids as much as I can, I havent seen them in three years. But one of my sons has an interest in models so I have been teaching him about the hobby and we bought a bunch of Scale Autos and Model Car Mags for him to look through. Im taking it slow with this, I dont see the need to rush things with it being my first model in 4 yrs. So here's a little update. Not much but i havent touched this in 5 days until tonight. I got some parts painted. Im enjoying working on it even if only a few hrs here and there.

Seems no one is interested in my build lol. Anyways i attempted to paint it today with it being almost 70 degrees outside. Apparently i bought the wrong kind of primer. And since i have no way to strip it off I just went with it anyways. For some reason the primer i used when dry resembled an almost sand like quality. So i said hell with it and painted the pink over that. Its no contest quality job but then again i build for me and no one else. And this model is kinda a learning curve back into the hobby lol. Ill post pics in a while after it dries
