I shouldn't complain, but the "BIG" and "LITTLE" Ts just never made much sense to me. They weren't altered enuf to be creative customs and way too tall to be racers. Then there were those antique cowl lights. Of course it didn't stop me from building one of those mammoth large scale kits which could've been a clone of the Big T. Still, I enjoy clean workmanship and that's evident in the fotos.

I got this Chevy Titan Truck as a freebie from my friend. Engine block halves are glued together and a couple of parts are taken off from the sprues but otherwise it's untouched. He told me he needed some space and had no time to build it so he thought I'd be happy to have it and build it. And I definitely am, Thanks! It's interesting to see what I can do with it as I've built only one Truck before. I bet it will be fun!

I was on a waiting list for more than a year but it was worth the wait . This came in the mail yesterday and it's a beauty ! Beautiful casting and chrome , and it even includes the Rallye mirrors and clear lenses ! This one is going to the top of my list to build . . . as soon as I finish the other projects scattered around the bench .

It's funny , back in the day I thought they were ugly as sin (the El Camino's too) . But over the years they kind of grew on me and now I really like the look of them . Although I still cringe at the those monster 5-mph bumpers !

I have that same Chevelle kit as well and when I get my Frontrunner-masters done for resin casting, I'll start building it immediately as well! It's a very nice piece, I can't wait to see what you do with yours. Although I still cringe at the those monster 5-mph bumpers ! I can remember when the friend who sold us our '74 Malibu Stocker, he said that they needed three people to lift front bumper on place after painting the car! Oh and I got yesterday one of the best presents I've ever had as I graduated from high school... My dad gave me (And for him as well) a trip to Pomona, California to watch NHRA Finals in November. Now since no girls will be coming with us, we can skip all of those shopping centres etc and concentrate on Drag Racing, Cruising Nights, Speed Shops and other cool car related stuff. I can't wait for that!

The Laguna S3 front end looks a little slicker to me than the standard nose. Designed and homologated for NASCAR racing.

Surprised it took so long for casters to get to this one. the basic body shell was on many of the AMT NASCAR racers. I've got the (I think) the Gordon Johncock one in yellow. An ok design. At least those old bumpers actually worked and helped hold down insurance rates.

In 1974 I was stationed at MacDill AFB here in Tampa and bought a new '74 Laguna S3 , drove it for a year before I went overseas . AT the time it was a pretty fancy car ! These were taken on base in front of the barracks .

I may be 60 but I'm sure still a kid when it comes to toy cars. I couldn't resist the '15 Mustang 5.0 today at BigMart. Looks to be somewhere between 1/43 and 1/32 scale.

Those old AMT NASCAR kits are loaded with usable parts for other projects if you don't build it up. The bodies always looked a little out of proportion to me, at least the few T-Birds I built did.

I finally got a Hobby Lobby in my area(YAY!) that just opened. I made my first visit today and took advantage of sales and a 40% off coupon. I'll be going there again!
