Great work! Your detail enhancements make a huge difference. In particular. picking out the wheels webs in red and adding the helmet decal sells the iron cross theme, which is otherwise lost in the gray wheels. I'm curious about the tires. Did you sculpt the rear treads and the square shoulders? Daniels must have been delighted with your respectful upgrade.

For the tires I took the plastic kit tires and sliced them into sections , then used a file to cut grooves in each section , then glued the slices back together with thin spacers between them . After a lot of sanding and shaping the shoulders they started looking pretty decent . It was definitely a learning experience ! I guess Tom Daniel liked it since he contacted me wanting to make copies of some photos I had posted . . . that's when I suggested an autographed photo would be nice !

Nice! You sure have a knack for upgrading these "caricature" kits and this one is a fine example. Congrats on catching Tom Daniels attention with it. That's quite an accomplishment. Well done.

Thank you Ron ! And I appreciate being able to post them here , you'd be surprised how many forums ban these types of models .

I truly enjoy seeing these Caricature Models. They always bring a smile on my face as they have some very cool and unique parts and shapes. This is a neat example of a well done "CarToon Model".
