Orange peel can be eliminated with wet sanding or polishing. If your paint job has orange peel, but you are still going to add more paint coats on it, wet sanding might be a good idea. I use usually 1,200 and 2,000 grit sanding papers with a sanding block and then add more paint. If it's the final paint job so that it's painted and clear coated etc, polishing might be the best idea... It gives a nice, smooth and shiny paint job. I'm not the best guy to advice on polishing, I'm kind of a rookie in it myself. I guess someone else can give you better answers on How To Polish.

well I want to two tone it with a brushed aluminum look on part of it but I havnt found a way to do it yet, its on a 67 gto that im working on and I don't plan on adding any other coats except the aluminum for the two tone...so should I sand it then do the second color then apply the clear and buff it?
