hi guys. just bought this kit. looking to build richard zocchi replica. 4 inch chopp and air bagged same colors as real car. thinking of some form of fuel injection. love ones with stacks. any suggestions as to where i could acquire injectors and manifold. since this is a scale model, the kit engine will not know what the manifold was intended for. i am also playing with the idea of using the injector tubes from the double dragster kit.

My favorite injector stacks are from Speed City Resin ( www.speedcityresin.com/ ). They're thin, have a nice stainless steel finish to them and are easy to trim if you need to. The 7" stack is the shortest aftermarket stack I've found.: A correct Hilborn injector for the early era Chrysler Firepower can be found at Altered States Models ( www.alteredstatesmodels.com/ ). It has nice detail so you might consider it even though it's hidden under the hood: Here are the two paired up on a digger I finished earlier this year:

the car you are talking about is pretty sweet, like most all his builds. I hope to see your scale build!

Beautiful detail! Sad that as the quality of aftermarket parts, (resin, foto-etch, etc) is improving, the hobby is shrinking. Still, for those of us who LUV correct and well detailed models, this is a great era!!

went with the speed city setup. next hurdle is lowering the front. The spindles have wheel mounting boss centered.Thinking of spindles like those in the newer 62 tbird . The stock spindles do seem rather spindley to cut wheel boss and attach higher.
