Fotki and what might happen

Well at this point, I don't think the owner even knows.

It doesn't sound good, but he has his hopes up and

says if people delete original files and help lighten the

load , it would probably stay alive for a long long time.

But....there is always that but. It is possible fotki could,

but I am not in there to "say"....it could disappear? I

am just saying!

My solution? I am working a lot harder now trying to

back up all of the instructions to the Harddrive that we

have. I want to save model photos , people photos and

much more also.....but I can't save 150,000 or so images

by myself ....it's going to take a long time for me alone.

Moderators/Owners......can I call on you? I need help

with backup.

If you can make a folder on your hard drives to back up

some things that would be great!

Gold Members.....this unforseen problem is out of my

control and I hate for you to lose any of your images

in the case something goes on with fotki.

Please take this as heads up.....go back up your images

now that you wish to save.

If anything happens to fotki...I will find another provider,

most likely photobucket and we can start fresh! Don't

worry...this little problem isn't going to keep the DPMCC

down!

you still can...but it's up to you to make sure your images are saved elsewhere. I never backed up anything until we got a hard drive. I wish I had backed it all up before loading any of it....it's much harder to save it all now. right click, save, right click, save...yes one photo at a time!
