After the Daytona accident, an idea came to my mind, it must be possible to build a trailer with a plane jet engine like the one seen at most Nascar tracks. I had a Silverado pickup kit in my stash so... let's do some scratchbuilding. Here's the base of the trailer with the engine casing The air outlet and the intake protection grille

Now my Silverado is not a 6 wheeler, after trying to find one for 3 weeks, I decided to transform it to a 6 wheels pickup So I scratchbuilt the rear fenders with styrene sheets almost done

While the putty and primer dried I made some fenders for the trailer and a roll bar for the truck

heres some update from my work of yesterday and tonight Painted the truck a base colour last night light yellow, and masked and sprayed the final colour tonight. I made a fuel cell for the jet engine and a tool box, I finished the trailer frame, made a tork flex axle and built a generator casing with its small 4 stroke engine... The upright t bar in the rear is for the flasher.

That is VERY COOL! What a great idea and your talent for scratchbuilding really shows! It's the first one of this type of vehicle I've seen in plastic. Congrats!

Your scratch building is great but that checkerboard paint job is excellent. That had to be a real P.I.T.A. to mask off.
