I don't dare get that detailed, but I got a prewired dist. in a kit and it has a think thread in it. Another method I've used for some detailing is heating sprague (left over part trees) with a lighter and then stretching it out, takes some practice with how much to heat and pull for desired thickness

3o gauge wrapping wire can be bought in loads of different colors, the rubber insulation from phone line can be forced over the end for plug boots

Yeah, wrapping wire. Mine is 0.5mm thickness. Buy it from where you would buy electronic components like resistors & the like. One roll will last you forever.
And it's worth investing in a pin vise and some 0.5mm drills (get a few as they break too easilly) to drill holes in the dizzy & the heads.

Years ago, I bought a spool of wire from I think Michaels. It was the correct thickness, but it had to be painted.

Radio Shack has spools of .018" in blue, red, and white. If black is desired I just drag the white on a magic marker. The hole size is a #75 micro bit. This really looks "in scale".

Here is a pic of the wire they are talking about from Radio Shack. It's good to know what it looks like and the name of it because when I went to go get some, the people working there had no idea what I was talking about.
