This is an older thingie of mine. I started out several years ago ('06) with Florida Swamp Maples, but the leaves were too large So I changed to Chinese Elms (smaller leaves) in '08. I'm just getting my plants around for spring. This lives outdoors, so while the canopy is filling out, the elements are attacking the model just as it would on a real junker. Only instead of rusting more, I may need to touch up some areas with paint. The bumper plating that I had weathered is wearing off.

I like the combination. As you train the trees each year you can slowly deteriorate the car. This project could take a while.

That's really cool. I used to Bonsai but since moving to a house with cats i had to leave it at my parents house.

It looks just great! I had a diorama based on a bonsai when I was a child. I somehow lost it moving many years ago. I have to rebuild one!

Cool idéa.. once I had a beaten 57 nomad in a fishtank.. needed no improvement water and fishes did all work..
