MPC Dodge D50 Freedom Rider

This is my latest project that I dug out to build for a 4th of July build on another forum. Its the MPC Dodge D50 4x4. Here is a shot of the box and of the goodies inside. Looks to be in good shape, very little flash on the parts but can you blieve there are 18 parts just to the body??

This is going to be a killer build, I haven't seen this kit in ages... I know you'll do it proud...

Building it pretty much box stock, body painted red (not sure on the shade yet) with a white interior and roll bar(I hope) and throw on the blue and white decals and I got me one patriotic 4x4.

i would leave the truck in red that it mode in an clear it with some clear prile or some kandy red ,

Thanks guys. I've been working on this here and there and got most of the body work done I think.

Well I finally got the red plastic to disapear under the white and I think the parts turned out pretty good. They do have a bit of silver trying to come through but that is a lot better than having the red bleed through. Here ya go:

I also got started on painting the suspension parts and the engine painted blue, I tried to use a color that will be close to the same shade on the decals.

Your project looks like a rare one indeed .Have you thought of a color schemce or still pretty much staying true to the box art? Eighteen body parts that's a lot . looks like things fit well.I look forward to seeing more.
