I originally bought this kit to cut the roof off and to convert the AMT 34 5 window to a three window. The more I looked at this kit, the more I liked it. I put it together as a full fendered and without fenders. I liked it better as a fenderless highboy. I took these two pictures yesterday morning but have done a little more on it since then. I cut the rear splash apron from the body and the gas tank from the frame. Since then, I've removed the molded on shocks and the rest of the tailpipes from the rear of the rear axle. I found a perfect pair of rear shocks in the AMT 59 Elky kit, and drilled the rear backing plates and mounted them. I've also dropped the front axle about 2 scale inches just to try and lower the nose a little bit more. I still need to make up the rest of the tailpipes. Gary

Looking great, especially for a snapper! This was my son's first (and last,sadly...) build-of course at 6 (at the time,he's 8 now),his is box-stock,but it's proudly displayed in the case next to my Rods =)
