This started as the remains of an aborted hot rod project. It is heavily inspired by Geezer's killer build that he did a while back on here. Frame is scratch built with model A crossmembers used. Its gonna have a flat bed on it that i will scratchbuild. Motor will be a souped up 4 banger. I still have to strip the paint on the cab. The paint will be black fenders with blue angel blue cab and hood. I think i will do some slight weathering but nothing extreme. oh yeah the hood on it right now isnt gonna be the one i will be using its only there for mockup purposes. You can point out the innacuracies all day but i didnt build this to be accurate i am building it as a fun project that I can display my models with.

Thanks! Here is an update. I have started to paint a few things. I am going to rechrome the outer ring of the wheels as well as the dust cap and leave the wheels black. I also started to make the flatbed but as you can see I havent gotten very far yet. Also did a quick primer of the cab. Dont worry the front wheels will be centered in the fenders...this is only a mockup Thanks for looking

Thanks Update Still need to weather some stuff, paint some stuff and glue eveything together. Nothing is glued on yet which is why some stuff is crooked. I was orignally planning on keeping it all shiney but my evil side got the better of me (like it always does). I will be alternating updates between here and TRAK for each update because it seems kinda dumb to post the same thing each time on both sites since many of the members here are members at TRAK. FInished pics will be posted on both websites, however. Thanks for looking

This project is now completely DONE! Its the most involved project (work wise) that I have ever completed. However I absolutely WILL NOT!!! photograph this thing on a plain white background. So unfortunately pictures may be delayed a couple of weeks while I work on a budget parking lot diorama which I will use to photograph finished models on includeing this one. Thank you to everyone for the nice comments along the way.
