Well, guess I'll post my recently finished (for now) car. Though I painted this car once before, honed my skills doing model cars for about 8 years before tackling this job. All work was done by me and my with help from a long time freind. Its a true SS car with matching #'s 400. We did some mild customizing ie. narrowed rear bumper, used front bumper for a mold and made a fiberglass one. Deleted marker lights, drip rails, and smoothed rear corners, cowl hood is from a 81 Z 28. Paint is Sherwin Williams custom paint line. Seats are out of a luxury foriegn car. We added to a Z-28 console to match up to dash. Now to spend another week cutting/polishing. Drew

great elco small or big block in it? its to bad u cant get revell to make that into a kit for us,

Thanks, its a small block 400 warmed over. Wish there was a kit of these yr. cars, gonna try and make one from a laguna kit but still doing research. Drew

sweet! nice Elky............just recently bought my teenager her first car, a 1978 El Camino. she is thrilled to have one, and it was just what she wanted.
