Hey, I heard that the M.R.A.P.* is getting a new van, (well new for them at least). Not sure of the year but I heard it looks like this one. Jerry *Midnight Requisitions Auto Parts

Oh man Jerry, that really sucks but I kinda like the idea of the repaired fender look. Sometimes you have to get into some pretty tight places and accidents do happen.

Seeing as I have this in this section, (as it should be). I'll show more of the build thus far. I decided to build it as a curb side and save myself a 350. Here's the interior. Done in Krylon Fabulous Finishes Suede, color Buckskin # 1241 I tinted the vent wings with Blue tint. glued the front bumper on , took the picture ,and right afterwords it dropped off. That's when I super glued it and myself to the van. I did start the progress of the repair and also decided to finish the rear. and This is where it's at at present. Here with the trailer Thanks for looking, Jerry

WOW, I'm getting this thing repaired before you guys even get to read the post! I just demasked it from the primer. And if you must know, No I didn't disassemble the van to do the repair. Thanks for looking, Jerry

Here's the latest. I kind of like it like this. A reminder that even custom paint, (or customs themselves) can get screwed up. In this case I think it adds a bit of interest and reality to the build. Jerry

I agree, gives it a realistic look to it as a everyday work vehicle.

DUDE!!! I really appreciate you posting this build, I just picked up this very kit at my LHS and was wondering how well it went together, being raised in the 70's I am probably gonna try something a little retro with mine...

"wondering how well it went together"
I can honestly say that it's not a difficult build. Any problems that I had encountered were of my own doing. I left out the engine, and made it a curbside,as the hood doesn't open and to me a waste of a good 350 sb.
Thank you all for you compliments, Jerry
