Well that sucks Clay, so are you thinking of stripping it or what?

I didn't throw it in the lake, just spent several hours sanding it down. I have it in a good dark blue base coat waiting for some graphics, now. I gave up on the candy blue and used some leftover paint from doing a repair on our 05 Dodge Caravan. I forget the name of the blue, but it's pretty.

Unusual for me to be so far into my next build before finishing this one, I painted my graphics on, but not totally happy with the results. I have actually had this in my hands 4 different times, ready to sand it off, again. But have managed to talk myself out of it. I think I'll try to correct it with airbrushing some of the base color over the graphics to see if I can get closer to my original concept. keep tuned,

The panelrod is already lookin good without paint. Can't wait to see what you've pulled outta your hat.

Well, I sanded off the grafix, and redid them. I'm glad I did. looks better this time. Had a small amount of lift around the edge of the airbrushing, but managed to smooth most of it out being more careful with the rest of the clear coats. Had to do a little repair work on the doors because of the paint buildup. If yer having opening doors and doing a intricate paint job, don't fit them too close. Amount of paint buildup can surprise you. I cleared with RM automotive clear coat. Now making some inner door panels out of heavy duty kitchen aluminum sheeting....PITA.

Shop assistant, Igor, is checking for leaks on the rear mounted radiator. then it's off to the photographers and then it will continue to the completed builds section. Keep an eye for it there.
