See that white band below the beltline? That's from 1/4 inch tape, I was contemplating a section also, But I backed out of that. Been there, did that, on a 49 chev pickup. Getting lazy in my old age, besides I have another project waiting.... Dan gave me a cab from an "Orange Blossom Spcl" puller. )

Not a lot of visual progress, just little things too mundane to mention. I did get the radiator mounted on the rear of the frame. That little pointy nosed '40 hood don't leave much room for stuff when it's lowered. I just got called out on another forum when I posted this. One guy implied that I wasn't very original, and another questioned the radiators ability to cool. The last panel that I put a radiator in the rear (Helrod), I had an electric fan on. For this one, I don't have an elec. fan, so I tried to maintain a little semblance of credulity by fabricating an air gathering shroud that extends forward under the rear of the frame. I call this type of thing "Imagineering" and sometimes it crowds the laws of physics. God, I dislike rivet counters! Geezer

OMG !!!!!!!! Geezer not origional? puhleeeeeze. as far as the radiator, a few louvers in the back door could fix that. I like it clay, you have more "imagineering" talent than anyone else I know. keep it going

Geezer, I just saw the pics of the staple treatment for the rear door vent. Your good old american ingenuity is coming through strong again. You never cease to amaze me.

Let's see if I can pull the photo over from Fotki. Rear vent looks a lot better now that it's almost ready for some primer. But this may be the last foto for a couple of weeks till I get the computer situation in hand. Spyware is starting to screw with my Kodak program now. Geezer

She's in the paint shop. I laid a basecoat on and found I had to do a tad more body work. Progress slow. I'm spending a lot of time on my SIL's Yamaha paint job. Hell, I'm supposed to be retired! So much to do, so little time !

Update: Paint problems. Base, candy, and clear added up to to much paint, and I wanted to do some graphics on it. Doors won't close now as it is and the candy is mismatched due to painting the pieces separatly. So, I'll be rethinking it.
