Dan gave me this OBS puller body, which I had been keeping in limbo. Had a build event come up in TRAK that inspired me to use it. It was next on my to do list anyway and the 40 Fords are done now,  This body has been chopped and sectioned 1/4 inch each. Scratch built frame and grill insert. |

Did a few more odds and ends. Spring perch, brake drum fittings, head lights, fit a radiator, etc, and made new bed sides after prematurely butchering the originals.  |

Man you sure know how to build they old rods. I'm working on my first rod in years and have been cussing out the front suspension like you wouldn't believe but I think I have it all figured out now.

I have this finished now. I had to tear that front end apart and mpodify the spring perch to raise the frame some. Belhousing was so low it kept the front wheels in the air! Finish foto's in Fotki: public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/1/clay_gratz/street_rodsrat_rods/obs/This was built for a TRaK event, the gathering of Outlaws, thus the play on words, naming it el capon.    |
