Started this one a while back, but it got sidelined. I'm just now getting back on it. Here's a recap of what little I've done so far. I'm using Revell's recent '69 SS kit as a base, and this kool hood from LSM model supplies (Alex is a Kool Kat,there's a link to his store on my webpage) And it needs bigger meats out back than the stock chassis would allow,so I cut the rear section (tubs) from a Revell '67 Chevelle Pro Street kit,but being 1:24 scale,I also had to narrow it to fit the Nova's body. And that's where I had left off for other projects. I'm just getting to get back on this one (it's a CBP car,and the deadline's approaching ). I have the chassis mated together, but I'm gunna cut it back apart today and re-attatch it. I'll try and get more pics of this one up this week (hopefully). It's gunna have a resin huge block cast by a good friend (572 I think he said),I'm thinking of opening the trunk and scratching a fuel cell, and adding a plate style NOS system with the bottle (as well as relocated battery) in there as well. I was also thinking of opening/hinging the doors, but I don't think I can scribe smooth enough to get the window surrounds...never tried opening or hinging anything before-but I've been trying something new every build lately,so I dunno yet. Thanks for looking

Cool project Steve. Ross Gibson has a resin 572 I do believe if you want to go that route.

Thanks for the props guys Marc,I saw that one, looks killer. Already gots one cast by a good friend though, just need to get it together and detailed. I don't know if I'll getta sit at the bench this week on any projects with lots going on needing my attention. I did get a little putty work on the frame over the weekend...lets just say my goals for this week on this one (and the other one on my bench) are pushed back exactly one week

Thanks for the tip I gots me a resin engine to go in it,cast up by a good friend. I may be boxing this one for a while (and respectfully bowing out of the CBP it's entered in-got myself into a building slump over alla the CBP's I've been semi-expected to enter lately,LOL!). I'll get back on this one once I get that slump outta my system. For now,I'm kinda in a different type-build mood...
