over the past few months, i have been extending my shopping list for kits and parts, including etched, resin and machined parts, i'm still looking for the machined parts. however, being in the UK means that there are not many outlets for parts or customs, hot rods and drag kits. most of have to come from across the pond, which isn't a problem as i did get the special edition tin version of the double dragster and at a good price. but! i ordered a revell 55 chevy sportsman from across the pond, and what do you know? one of the UK outlets got it in stock a few days after i received mine. this has happened twice before, and i think i'm being spied on, either that or it is murphy's law. steve

That sounds more like Thumb's Law to me but yes, it happens to me constantly. Not only in a store but also on Ebay or even a yard sale. If I buy it, everyone else will have it for cheaper the next day.

yep its called life. i have to laugh sometimes how murphy's law or sod's law as it's sometimes called here. i did triumph this weekend on e-bay. i managed to get a monogram 53 chevy (1991) for £14 inc postage, and the best thing is, is that the seller is in the UK. RESULT! steve
