I was going to, until I saw that I could attain the height I was looking for with the A-arm setup. It is now sitting exactly as I envisioned it. I wanted to build something that would have cruised into the Varsity Drive In at Barberton, Ohio on a Friday or Saturday night in the late 60's.

I'm scratch-building the street legal exhaust with twin Cherry Bombs (my first time at a whole exhaust system) and what a PITA that has been! I have also made some changes to AMT's front grille and trim. The wheels were donated to the project by my son, from a Revell '69 Camaro (I believe).
I'll post pics of the completed project.

Got some color on it now. Debating whether or not to paint the center and spokes flat gray. Opinions?
