I enjoy the ease of Yahoo groups better than forums. I can easily check all of my group sites just by logging in one time. I have minimal problems with Yahoo, too.

It's not working for me because there is nothing there but words, no pictures. And messages from this account go to my spam folder (so I NEVER see them) unless I check my spam. I takes multiple trys to log in, and remember this is a brand spankin new computer.

Photos don't show up anywhere or just in the "instructions updates"? If it's the instructions updates..I rarely post photos, just links. Thanks for your replies guys!

Quite possibly, you may have your computer configured incorrectly if you can't send photos with your emails. I have several email boxes, and I send attachments [e.g. photos, documents, etc] with no problems at all.

My guess is everyone who cared to, has voted. Thanks for your votes! I hope that those who have a problem with using this forum can learn or fix the problems. Some simple settings might need changed in order to fix the difficulties you have. Be very aware that keeping your computer up to date is extremely important, not only to make this forum work correctly but for the safetly of your personal computer. This is built into your Windows operating system and also is found under "Tools" in your browser. If you don't make sure it's up to date at least once a month, you may be left with viruses and more. I know a lot of people say " I have automatic updates"...so do I and I am telling you that they don't always show up on time and may not show up until you restart your computer next time.....some of us don't restart for months! BE SURE to check it! www.windowsupdate.com As most high traffic web sites , Java is in use here because our forum is on a HIGH volume "server". Ebay uses it and so do many other large sites. Be sure to check and see if you have the latest Java. It will not only make this forum work better, but your computer speed will increase as it will recognize and be more compatible with other sites. www.java.com Do disc clean up which can be found in your computer under "system tools". Running this will eliminate cookies and carbon copies of every single thing you view on your computer....all of this build up slows your computer down and causes hiccups. Make sure when running it, you check EVERY box in that list .....none of it is any good to save, do that every time at least twice a month! Choose a GOOD virus program. Norton comes with most computers from the manufacturer, but it's not the best. It's a POS in my opinion and will fail you many times as well as want you to "update" for a fee after the manufacturers trial period is up. I recommend using AVG by Grisoft. It's FREE and I have used it for around 8 or more years. I have tried a lot of different things out, so please try AVG. www.grisoft.com (search for the "free edition" by searching their site for AVG FREE. Quite honestly, I don't even use a virus program anymore since getting Windows Vista. Windows Defender does pretty well and if I really want to get a virus scan, I go to House Call which is totally free and is right up there with AVG. www.trendmicro.com I know this is all foreign to some of you, but take some time and learn.....it's really a lot easier than you might think.
