When I started this, I replaced the 50 truck axle with a 40 Ford one in true gluebomb fashion....just glued to the frame w/ no suspension, rods, linkage, etc. With that said, I can't explain doing this, except that they may be visible thru the open top, but here I am putting in some imagineered interior bracing: And some springs behind the seat ! Go figger !!!

Going slo. I'm painting my SIL's saddlebags (metalflake flames) BUT... I digress with my update. IF I EVER get the idea again to upholster with real cloth, I hope someone's here to kick me smack upside the head !!!!!

Gettin into the final assembly stage. I had rebuilt the windshield a little bit too neat for this car, so we're showing the welds. And the dash is installed.
