No update on the build, just me, lol. Been busy job huntin. Got a big interview w/ Lexmark printers and hopefully it will pan out, good money for testing printers. As for the Merc, the primer is drying in the booth. I think i am going to use the kit chassis after all, the length of the 53 chassis was dead on but the wheels in the front look about a scale foot to far inside the wheel wells. Will have some pics soon!

Been working the past day on this one and i have decided to leave off the gold wires and go get me a set of chromes, planning on pulling the foil out and giving it another shot on this one. Think with all the chrome trim, the gold might look out of place. I am aiming for the exact same rims just in chrome. I have been amassing parts for a future 64 Impala build. Going to put everything i have learned on here into it!!!!

Finally got some progress done on this one. Between going to interviews and side work it is difficult!! Got the major part of the engine done and likewise with the interior, just small details left on both. Ordered me a distributor and a set of chrome wires to replace the golds. Plan on bmf'ing this one so there will be way too much chrome to be throwing a set of gold wires on it!!   Body finally got primed!!  |
