Hi Jon, your concept drawing looks vaguely familiar to me, where is it from? Are you sure Exner didn't desigh this Edsel on the sly at Ford while he was employed by Chrysler? Gary

I might not be a fan of the big wheels, but I sure am a fan of kustomizing! I love the fact you brutalized a vintage kit to do what YOU want to do with it!

Beautiful body work! That's what I like seeing, clean work towards a well thought out plan! How many hours of work do you have in that body already?

Hi Jon, your concept drawing looks vaguely familiar to me, where is it from? Are you sure Exner didn't desigh this Edsel on the sly at Ford while he was employed by Chrysler? Gary That's funny Gary... Its actually from edsel.net/prototype.htmlI might not be a fan of the big wheels, but I sure am a fan of kustomizing! I love the fact you brutalized a vintage kit to do what YOU want to do with it! I like how you but that Bob... I'm actually mixed on my feelings about big wheels. This was a sort of experiment to see if I could make them look 'Vintage' in style... After seeing so many cars built with big wheels, I started to appreciate the aesthetic a bit and had to give it a go! BTW... I finally scored a '60 Dodge! Ambitious project !! Wow ! Bring it on ! Thanks Clay... Glad you dig it! Beautiful body work! That's what I like seeing, clean work towards a well thought out plan! How many hours of work do you have in that body already? Thanks for the great compliment Steve... Really tough to say... I can say about the same in thinking and staring time as actual building time! A rough guess would be at least 40 - 60 hours so far at the actual bench... Keep in mind, I hate putty and will redo parts often 2 to 3 times to get them right (I've redone parts of a build up to 5 times and one time 7 )! Thank you Tooltas... I'm glad you like it!

Thanks for the great compliment Steve... Really tough to say... I can say about the same in thinking and staring time as actual building time! Don't know about you... I consider staring build time! You are pretty finicky with your body work, but it always shows in the end. I'm not as exact, but I do know some of my best body work had no filler. Please resume your pondering of the model... I look forward to seeing more!

Thats gonna be one trick Edsel! I love the section job, and I think you should use whatever wheels you want! I like em both ways!

I like em both ways too! And will go with these big wheels without hesitation on this build... I think a better way for me to have put it would have been that I have very specific tastes in big wheels! Cause I do like some I see very much... And would build a 1:1 with them without hesitation! (If I had a 1:1... )

Awesome work sectioning the body! If I tried doing that I would end up throwing it away LOL.
