Interesting project.When you created the engine compartment with the styrene did thickness matter? Also did you heat the styrene to create the angles or just use a straight edge and fold it over ?

I used very thin styrene sheet and folded it on a metal ruler. One end of the fold broke but it does not show. A little heat might have helped here. I will cover those with aluminium paper so it does'nt matter On the other end I messed the paint. I used Tamiya white in can and could not get it to cover properly the Plasti Cote gray primer. It seems each new coat will melt the previous one so the paint does not cover the edges. I'll start over with real base coat this time. I made the decals myself, they look good and I can't wait to apply them.
