Every thing was made tough & heavy. Today you move 10 cars & hope you didn't get damage for it was costly. When I am done with mine I may try a oldy

From '79 MY through the '86 MY I drove a Car hauler out of Lordstown , Oh. . The outdated Bankhead Trailers were built to last . Yes , the same family as Telula Bankhead . The carrier replaced these with a new design from Cottrell Sullivan . Lighter and able to hold more cars . Leaf Spring Suspension instead of Air Bags . These chuncks of crap rattled themselves to pieces . This opinion is mine . I cannot speak for others that had to use them like myself . I had a Rear upper deck break away from where it attached to the uprights with a 1 Ton Duelly on it . Two out of four places cracked and broke loose . I was delivering it to W VA . It travelled fron Lewistown , NY to Washingtonville , Pa when it I found it in this hazardous condition . I go for the old stuff . Once again , my opinion . Thanx ..
