72 Chevy Pick up/painted again!

Well off and running on another one, lol. This is the rifes magazine edition and i hate the rims that came with it so i have found a few other options and need some opinions. I know you guys got plenty of them, lol. Which you like more? This is the chrome base i have been using on my paint lately, Not only does it make the color brighter, but you can wet sand the final paint color down and reveal the chrome paint on the scripts.

I am kinda partial to the 2nd set myself, only one reason though, for the mags i would have to cut the wheel wells and such. Now that i am looking at it more myself though it might not look bad laid in the weeds with a custom bed set up.

You think those were bad, you should have seen the ones that came in the kit, Ugh x 10!!!!

Well here are some progress shots, got the engine done, with the exception of the air cleaner, painting it the secondary body color. Hav decided on a two tone blue and blue paint job. We will see how it turns out though, lol. Also got the interior done, all i had to do was paint it and throw in the dash, everything else was molded in. The shots of the body are after a final coat of crome, next will be a light blue in the center and a dark blue ever where else.

More done, have a few spots to clean up and respray but i think over all it looks good so far, now let's see if i can save the paint job, lol.

Well have changed my mind in the paint dept. stripped it and got it almost ready for some new pics. Here is the interior, all off it is straight out the box except for the B&M Slap shifter i through in for good measure.

Ok one more sneak peak for the day before i head into work. Here is the new paint colors, ultra white and Brook Blue Mettallic.

Well got the main components to a happy point, lol. The trim on top and bottom will be silver, the old sharpee will make the paint look a lot cleaner. Then maybe, just maybe i can get it together!

Not a bad decision, Gerg. The first combo didn't look too bad , but the new is better.

This one is coming along nicely. My old neighbour built a 72 gmc with the same paint scheme

Well here is my last update on this one, this is the final stance on this bad boy. All that is left is the mirrors, painting the side markers, and installing the brake lights.
