This is a kit that my wife picked up for me. It is huge compared to the 1/24 or 1/25 scale. It is a 1/12 scale. It is a shame that the body came in two pieces. But man this thing is detailed so here is what I have. I will bring all up to date to where I am now on this as I try to locate the pics. Thanks for looking.

I bought an older version of that kit a few years ago. Hosted on FotkiCheck out your instructions on that cause mine came with an electric motor that mounts inside the engine block and runs through the plastic, kit drive shaft to the rear axle that you put gears in it for the electric motor to actually turn the rear wheels!!

Moparmarc this came with the gears and everything. But no motor. So I went ahead and put the engine together. Found out the bigger the scale the harder it is to get it to look right.

I like what you did with the frame, it really adds some depth to it. Were your body halves a little warped and if so was it hard to fix?

Thanks for the comments. Moparmarc the body was straight and that really surprised me. I hate the fact that it was in half. It makes it rough on someone like me that hasn't done alot of smoothing seam lines.

That is looking sweet!!! The gold highlights were a very good choice, like you said, it breaks up the chrome, and looks so much better. Are you going to leave the body black, or paint a different color?? The motor is very well built. It is clean, and nicely detailed. Great job Tony.
