DPMCC CLUB AUCTION November 07, 2009

We are having our annual club auction this next Saturday! I hope to see you there. Here is the info, short but sweet.

WHERE : yahoo messenger via "invite". You must be on my buddy list for an invite. trakburner is my user name

WHEN: November 07, 2009 7pm EST

PAYMENTS: paypal, money orders and cash ONLY...NO checks! You will have 10 days after the auction to make payment, please don't bid if you can't pay....I would like to get the auction over with and not spend a month or more waiting on payments.

This auction is charity from members of the club that want to help support our sites and yearly show in Omaha, Nebraska. If you want to donate, please contact me ASAP....time is running out and I appologize for the short notice.

If you don't have any models or stuff to donate to be auctioned, you can also make money donations.

What took 6 hours to do last year, took
around 3 hours to do tonight. Thankfully!

I think there were 13 people in the conference
which is about less than half of what came in
last year. I am sure it's because everyone is
hurting for money and would rather not tease
themselves....trust me that's how I felt hah!

I want to thank everyone for their donations. I can't
tell you how much of a relief it is to me personally
to know our club is secure and can pay it's own bills
by charity amongst it's own members. You guys should
pat yourselves on the back!

Special thanks to AW for putting the flame under
my rosey cheeks and getting this going again. I
have been so swamped with things that I literally
didn't have it in me to even announce or think about
another auction right now....but thanks to AW we did!

Special thanks to Mj for his help as an auctioneer!

Extra special thanks to those who donated, really!
Kenny Shores aka Bandit Resins donated his time
to make our awards for the NNL in February which
will save us a lot of money! Last year was $680 plus
in costs for the awards alone. With Kenny's donated
time , we will save nearly half of that so thank you VERY
much Kenny!

Thanks to Robert Taphorn and John Hoch for coming
to the auction, which was their first time in chat with
other club members too!

The total we made is $510.00! There is no reward for
who spends the most, but I want to thank Bud Ellis for
his genorous winning bids. I know he wanted what he
bought, but he jumped right up with high bids. TY!
That's enough to pay
some bills and to buy the awards for February! It's
also enough for me to finally take care of 07's custom
awards (how embarrassing) and the last Muscle car awards!
Yes folks, it's been that tight and me living the rough...I have
not been able to do it myself. This gives us a good outlook for
2010! We can look forward to a clean new year with no previous
hangers!!

night, so things will change a little.

THANK YOU ALL AGAIN, NOW WE (I) CAN RELAX HAH!!

PS....Anyone is more than welcome to donate to either
next year's auction or to the club at any time. We constantly
use our funds and as long as we keep them coming in we
will always be okay! My hopes is we can build them up so
we can say we have "savings" for things like charity to help
others out and so we can do more exciting things together!
