Bad news about our friend

I just called Bud Lefevre on his cell to see if he could pass on message that I won't be at NNL.
He was very hard to talk and couldn't hear me very well. He told me to call his home. I called and his wife explained what was going on.
Bud has cancer and it doesn't look good at all. I am in tears right now, I have known him for about 5 years and he is a very nice guy.
I asked his wife if I should let everyone know and she said "that's fine".
She is keeping busy and she said Bud is pretty doped up so that he is not really in much pain.

If you have anything to say call his home. His wife is going up to hospital in morning and said she would tell him he has friends that love him.

Man this really sucks, Bud is a great model builder and an even better person.

This is a sad moment!!! I havent been able to know him personally, but i always loved to see his builds, as they are top-notch!!! I pass on my best wishes for a speedy recovery, and to his family, i wish all of the best!!!
