Well as badly as we both wanted to do some more work on his model last night but of it at this point needs sprayed and with all of the rain, freezing rain, sleet, and snow that feel almost all day and night there was no way any spraying was getting done. Today looks a lot better so hopefully after we get back home from my mom's Christmas dinner we will gt some more done to it.

We finally got some painting done last night. First up is the chassis, got the overspray done: Next 2 pics are of the firewall and engine bay area, both are now sublime green just like the body: Last but not least the 440 is now Hemi Orange!!!! Pic is a little dark:

Not much of an update but I did sneak a couple of pics of him painting the trans a little bit ago.

Oh, yeah, He's into it, aint he? You need to get him a better brush for details. A good brush will last a long time with proper care. I pinstripe with 35 year old brushes.

Lookin good so far,it's nice to see young people building. When I was his age I built them out of the box,no paint or detail.Looks like he has a good head start on his modeling carrier!!!

Clay, I have some nice brushes for detailing. He had already done the detail stuff between seperating the trans from the motor, he was using the cheapo testors brush for the larger areas.
Dan, Justin has wanted to paint stuff on his models since the very first one, it took a while to convince him to start a little slower and work his way into it.
