'40 Ford rat rod - completed 5-10

My new rat rod project. '38 Chevy bones, that are about to get twisted.(stretched and z-ed) got a duesenberg grill fo it. Ford flat head power.

A Patty Wagon front end clipped on to the '38 Chevy frame just fine(roughed in)

Lots of work to do including a chop. using a '60 Chevy rear end, it wiil be on a coil spring/ trailing arm suspension.

Man that sure is one short frame. Are you going to put a bed on it as well or do you have other plans for the the rear end?

No bed, what I've seen on the street here in Iowa, they put a fuel tank or a small deck on the top of the short z-ed rear frame and the rear suspension is exsposed. in the picture, the rear frame is not what will be on it, and the flat head is a mock up, the one that goes in it is rusty. Ripper

It's chopped and dropped. This body is old and very brittle. Thats fun, its like a second realm of rat rodding, The model pieces are old junk stuff replicating old junk stuff.

I have a second set of doors, thanks to Virgmiester, that I'm going to suicide.
