Looking good Virgil. Is that the factory color for the motor?

Looking good Virgil. Is that the factory color for the motor? From what i have seen, this is a close color. Ford used this green from 1932 thru 1942 on the flatheads. Then they started with gold and other colors for newer years. Thanks, Virgil

The frame and suspension is painted, i have some detail paint to do, then i will put on the rear diff. I have the body sanded, and a couple of bad spots puttied. The hood was too wide, approxiamately the width of an exacto saw cutting area on both sides. So i cut along both sides of the chrome strip, and glued it back together. It looks sooo much better...i think. The hood before any mods. After the cuts. After i glued it back together. Everything fits so much better. It even lines up with the grille mount better also. Thank you for your patience and looking in on the project. Virgil

Thank you for the kind words. I am glad i could helpout with the tip. I used Ambroid Proweld to glue it back together. You hold the trim, and one side of the hood together where you want them, and touch the glue to it, and then do the other side, and it is mostly done, other than some sanding, and possible puttying, depending on how the sawing goes.
