61 Ford Ranchero-Updated (09-06-09)

Sorry for taking out the other posts by me, but the pics keep kicking out of here, so i am starting from the last post....lol.
Here is what i got in the mail yesterday from Ed at Drag City Casting. Ed puts out some very nice products. Thanks Ed!!!




I think this hood will give it more of a look like the thunderbolt in a manner of speaking.

I am sorry for the long wait, and the few progress pics. Here is what is done to this point. I cut 1/2" total from front axle to narrow it to the ranchero front end. It will set up some in the front, like a gasser. The front wheels are from the late 60's to mid 70's. I think....lol. The chrome was almost gone, so i dunked them, and painted them with Aluminum Plate Metallizer. The engine still has a ways to go.

Nice start Virgil. You are rasing the front of your Ranchero and I am going to try and lower the front on the Falcon once I get back to work on it.
